Ezekiel 37:1-14 “… I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.” In this passage, God gives “levels” to the prophet Ezekiel. It speaks of the transformation of the body. Bones, then sinews, flesh, then breathe. In many ways, one could easily compare the Laudate workouts to this passage in the sense of building up our physical bodies. However, an often overlooked aspect of our overall health profile definitely has to come from the spiritual side. The church is often referred to as the body and in this way, we are striving to build our own mini “house of Israel” at the gym. God gathers the body and physically and spiritual transforms us, recreating our bodies through our praise while training. Take a moment during your next workout to “breathe from the four winds” that God provides to give us life. Ask Him for strength. As always, join us this Saturday morning for some faith based fitness! By iron, through iron, to iron. Laudate. God Bless, The Laudate Team |
